With the addition of nonstop flights from Austin (AUS) and Kansas City (MCI) to the Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN) for Winter 2017/2018, Steamboat increases its air program to service 14 major airports on key U.S. carriers. In addition to the Austin and Kansas City nonstops, flights are offered from Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Los Angeles (LAX), Newark, San Francisco, Washington/Dulles, San Diego, Seattle and Denver. So, no matter where you are in the U.S., finding a convenient route to Steamboat is now easier than ever!
The new Austin and Kansas City nonstop flights will be offered on ViaAir on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from December 13, 2017 through April 1, 2018.
United Airlines has expanded its service to Steamboat this winter, offering three daily flights from Denver, beginning December 20, plus an additional daily flight over the holiday season and from February 15 through April 8. United/United Express are also offering daily flights from Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles beginning December 20. United will also be serving Newark (Saturdays & most Sundays from 12/23-4/1), San Francisco (Saturdays from 12/23-3/24) and Washington/Dulles (Saturdays from 12/23-3/31). Steamboat is now the only ski resort airport serving all 7 of United Airlines’ domestic hubs.
Delta Airlines will be serving Atlanta and Minneapolis/St. Paul with daily nonstop flights to Steamboat beginning December 21.
American/American Eagle Airlines is offering daily nonstop flights from Chicago and Dallas/Ft. Worth beginning December 15.
Alaska Airlines will be flying nonstop from San Diego to Steamboat on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays, and from Seattle on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning December 16.
The addition of the Austin and Kansas City flights, plus additional flights from Chicago, Denver and San Diego, boost the Steamboat airline program by approximately 8% over 2016/2017.
