Earning an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau is no small feat, and is a testament to Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty’s commitment to the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, as well as quality standards that are unsurpassed in the real estate industry.

For more than 100 years, consumers have turned to the Better Business Bureau for recommendations on businesses, brands and charities that they can trust. BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming was founded in 1983, and serves 38 counties in the region.

The BBB’s rating system is based on information about the business in 13 different criteria. While the BBB does not recommend or endorse any business, product or service, it is the organization’s mission to advance marketplace trust and promote an ethical marketplace where consumers can trust businesses.

To earn an A+ rating, a business must score between 97-100 points across 13 different categories, each assigning a point value to the category, with a maximum score of 100. The 13 different categories used in the Better Business Bureau Ratings system are: complaint volume, unanswered complaints, unresolved complaints, complaint resolution delays, failure to address complaint pattern, type of business, time in business, transparent business practices, failure to honor mediation/arbitration, competency licensing, government action, advertising review, and BBB trademark infringement.
