Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Community Fund and is now accepting applications for its Spring 2020 grant funding cycle.

Locally owned and operated, Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty agents, owners and staff collectively participate in the fund, which has awarded over $47,000 to 43 non-profit organizations in Routt County since its inception in 2017.

The Steamboat Sotheby’s Community Fund was established in order to support local non-profit organizations through a collective funding and semi-annual granting process. Collaborating with Resort Group’s VIP Reservation Program with Mountain Resorts, Pioneer Ridge, and Simply Steamboat, a portion of reservation fees is donated to SSIR the community fund, which amounted to $1600 in 2019. “As a locally owned and operated business, we’re happy to partner with Steamboat Sotheby’s to give back to our community and support Routt County non-profit organizations,” says Joe Cashen, Vice President of Business Development at Resort Group. “We’re proud to create a philanthropic culture in which we encourage others to give back to the community as well.”

Grant funding will be considered for any non-profit 501c3 organization or program in Steamboat Springs or Northwest Colorado. Grant funds will stay locally and support organizations that demonstrate need, that make an impact in our local community and to our residents.

  • Girls on the Run of Northwest Colorado – Scholarship Program

  • Lift Up of Routt County – Emergency Housing Assistance Fund
  • Northwest Colorado Center for Independence – Youth and Young Adult Outreach
  • Northwest Colorado Health – Aging Well Program
  • School Trails Map Program
  • Steamboat Springs High School After Prom
  • Steamboat Soccer Club – Scholarship Program
  • Yampa Valley Parkinson’s Support Network – Expanding the Outreach Program
  • Yampa Valley Sustainability Council – Energy Efficiency/Home Safety Assistance for Low Income Households
  • Routt County Crisis Supports
  • Rocky Mountain Youth Corps
  • Young Tracks
  • Grand Futuresx
  • Book Trails
  • Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association
