The Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Community Fund recently completed its Spring 2020 grant cycle, awarding $13,500 to Routt County nonprofit organizations.

Since its inception in 2017, the SSIR Community Fund has contributed more than $60,000 to 51 different organizations and programs. A large portion of the funds in the Spring 2020 grant cycle were provided to the Yampa Valley Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, which aims to support those community-based organizations at the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in the Yampa Valley region.

“In its three-year history, the Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Community Fund has made a tangible difference in the well-being of Routt County residents, and this year, these grants are addressing urgent problems caused by the COVID-19 crisis,” says Yampa Valley Community Foundation Executive Director, Tim Wohlgenant. “We are honored to partner with Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty in helping direct these funds where they are most needed.”

In addition to the YVCF COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, Spring 2020 grant funding was awarded to:

  • The Hayden School District – Student Breakfast Program
  • Rocky Mountain Youth Corps – Scholarship Program
  • South Routt School District – Student Breakfast Program
  • Steamboat Art Museum – New Website Funding
  • Steamboat Creates – Veterans Writing Project
  • Steamboat Reading – Youth Scholarship Program
