The Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Community Fund recently completed its Spring 2025 grant cycle, awarding $3,800 to Routt County nonprofit organizations.
Since its inception in 2017, the SSIR Community Fund has contributed over $130,000 to 59 different programs and organizations. Established in collaboration with the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, the fund was created as a way for Steamboat Sotheby’s Realty brokers and staff to collectively contribute and make a meaningful impact in Steamboat Springs and Routt County. The programs funded include health & human services, senior services, youth programs, arts and the environment.
Spring 2025 grant funding was awarded to:
- The Cycle Effect: Latina Women mountain biking program
- Routt County Humane Society: Specialized nutrition for shelter animals
- Routt County Search & Rescue: New rescue radios
- Yampatika: Backpacking program scholarships
- Better Tomorrow: Furnishing emergency domestic violence shelter
- Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide: Youth & adult counseling program
- Partners for Youth: School-based mentoring program
- Friends of the Yampa: Stream Team program
- Girls on the Run of Western Colorado: GOTR Fall 5K
