In addition, the Steamboat Art Museum is hosting a special artist-signing event with Chula Beauregard during the Winter Carnival Street events on Saturday, February 11 at 11am, at the corner of 8th and Lincoln Avenue downtown.

There are still a handful of limited edition framed posters available, signed and numbered by Chula. Contact Traci Smith at 970.875.2457 for information or to purchase a limited edition poster.

The commemorative poster program was initiated and organized by Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty, with 100% of the proceeds go directly to the SSWSC. The program was started as a vision and an effort to create a connection between SSIR’s local advocacy program with the Arts and athletics in Steamboat – all three of which are vital to the fabric of our community.

This year, Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty commissioned local artist Chula Beauregard to create the original art work for the poster. Chula’s oil-on-canvas creation, depicting the fireworks over Howelsen Hill during the Winter Carnival Night Extravaganza, perfectly captures the essence of Winter Carnival and the excitement that the event brings to Steamboat Springs.
